How to Connect with Candidates
Open the Candidate Record you would like to connect with. Click the blue three line button in the upper right hand corner, this is your “Action Menu.” In the Action Menu, you will see three options on how to connect with your Candidate, “Send an Email, Send a Text, Send a Form.”
Click “Send an Email” and an email pop up window will appear where the “To” and “From” sections will be automatically filled in. You can also choose to format your email from a previous template by clicking “Choose a Template” to the right of the Subject line. Once you are satisfied with your email, click the blue “Send” button at the bottom of the pop up window.
Click “Send a Text” and a Text Message pop up window will appear. You will need to have text messaging capabilities set up for this feature to work. You will notice the “To” field automatically populated from the Candidates mobile phone number. The Subject line will not send in the text, it is just a reference for when logging an activity. When you are satisfied with your text message, click the blue “Send” button at the bottom of the pop up window.
The “Send a Form” button allows you to send documents to your Candidate. To use this button you will need to have Custom Forms set up in Tracker. Choose one of your Custom Forms and click “Prepare” at the bottom of the pop up window. The form URL will be provided and you can choose to either Send the form directly or Edit it.
