How to Find and Organize Jobs

  1. Locate your navigation bar, either at the top of your screen or on the left hand side. Click the blue trophy, labeled “Jobs.” In the drop down menu that appears, you will see preset saved views. “My Jobs” is where you will find all the Jobs owned by you. “New Jobs” is where you will find all Jobs added to the database in the last 7 days. “Open Jobs” is all of your jobs in an open state.

  1. If you would like to add a different saved view, go to your “All Jobs” list. Click the “Filter” button at the top right of the list view. In the menu you that appears, this is where you be able to filter and search through all of your jobs by using the details on the right hand side. Choose the detail you wild like to Filter and click “Go” in the upper right hand corner of the Filter menu. If you are happy with the search results and would like to Save this set view click “Save” in the upper right hand corner of the Filter Menu.

  1. Once you have clicked the “Save” button, a “Save Filters as a View’ Window will appear. This is where you can enter a Name for the new View and also choose if you would like to share the view with any of your colleagues.

 

  1. Once you have saved your view, your screen will refresh to your new saved View. If you hover over the blue trophy labeled “Jobs”, you will see that your new view is saved under “My Views”.

  1. If you would like to delete your saved view, enter into your saved view and click the “Filter” button at the top right of the list view. From the Filter menu on the right side, click the red “Delete” button.

  1. Another way to organize your Jobs is to use the Column Organizer. In the upper right corner of your List View of Jobs, click the “Columns” button. A drop down menu with all your available Columns will appear. You can add or remove Columns by checking or unchecking the boxes. You can also organize your Columns by dragging and dropping the Column into the position you would like to view it in.

  1. You can also organize your Jobs by entering into the Company Record and scrolling down to the Jobs you have open within that Company.
